Assistance with DVR placement
Any individual with a physical, mental, cognitive, or other form of disability who has a substantial impediment to employment may qualify for the following services through the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS): job placement, job skills, assistance with resume writing.
Assistance with Medicaid
Clients can meet with the Outreach Department to discuss any issues with their Medicaid or other insurance.
Assistance with SNAP & GA
Clients can be referred to their local social services office to apply for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or General Assistance services.
To assist clients to identify current issues that need to be addressed, especially emergent needs beyond the normal daily needs. These may include, but are not limited to, legal issues, Social Security, Telephone calls for services needed, medical transportation, Board of Social Service needs etc.
The PCC will encourage task completion by client whenever appropriate.
Court Advocacy, Including Drug Court
Our team meets weekly to discuss clients who participate in Drug Court, and a each month a staff member goes to Drug Court to discuss each client’s progress and issues. We also will write letters and speak on behalf of a client when appropriate if they are facing legal issues.
